Terms of Acceptance
This regulation applies to the forms of interaction within the Natura Campus Program, with special attention to the Natura Scientific Cooperation projects that will be developed in partnership with Natura Cosméticos S.A., headquartered in Cajamar, State of São Paulo, located at Rodovia Anhanguera, s/n, km 30.5, registered under CNPJ no. 71.673.990/0020-30.
1 FORMS OF INTERACTION
1.1 The Natura Campus Program encourages the relationship between Natura and Science Institutions, which may be public or private institutions, including universities, colleges, research institutes, technology institutes, among other organizations focused on teaching, research, extension, and technological development activities, whether for profit or not.
1.2 The forms of participation in the Natura Campus Program described in items 2 and 3 of this regulation have specific rules associated with each type of interaction, addressing different approaches and conditions according to the characteristics applicable to each type of interaction, to be disclosed in due course.
2 BASIC AND/OR TECHNOLOGICAL SCIENTIFIC COOPERATION PROPOSALS
2.1 The Natura Campus Program adopts the model of periodic calls for receiving research project proposals, in addition to the continuous receipt of proposals not linked to a specific public notice. The objective of this model is to enable the planning of research activities by Natura and its partners and to favor the comparative analysis of proposals.
2.2 Calls for cooperation proposals will be disclosed on the Natura Campus Portal www.naturacampus.com.br and through complementary disclosure actions to be carried out in due course.
2.3 Should the Natura Campus program wish to proceed with any collaboration and/or project development proposals, after the necessary evaluations, Natura's Partnership Policies and Guidelines will be applied to define the future of such possible partnerships with Natura.
2.4 Eligibility:
2.4.1 Researchers regularly affiliated with Science Institutions (SI), which may be public or private institutions, including universities, colleges, research institutes, technology institutes, among other organizations focused on teaching, research, extension, and technological development activities, whether for profit or not, interested in establishing Innovation Partnerships, may register for the Natura Campus Program and submit project proposals.
2.4.2 Proposals submitted by Natura &Co employees are not eligible, even if there is a formal link between the proposing researcher and a Science Institution.
2.5 Information requested from proponents:
For the purposes of identifying candidates and evaluating projects, Natura will request information it deems necessary regarding the location, institutional link, academic background, research lines, and professional activity of the proponent (when an individual), technical structure (team, equipment, etc.), as well as the detailed proposal or work plan (title, justification, objectives, methodology, budget, activity schedule, related bibliographic and technical production, partnership networks involved).
2.6 Scope of proposals:
The proposals to be submitted may involve different types of interaction, as per items 2.6.1, 2.6.2, and 2.6.3. The proponent may suggest the type of interaction proposed, but Natura will not be obligated to follow it. Natura will analyze the proposal and make the appropriate classification based on the information received.
2.6.1 Basic Scientific Research Cooperation Project, which aims at the advancement of knowledge on a topic of mutual interest, without a focus on industrial application – in this type of project, the generation of results susceptible to intellectual property protection and commercial use is not foreseen, and broad scientific publication and dissemination of results are possible by mutual agreement between the partners;
2.6.2 Technological Research Cooperation Project, with the objective of advancing knowledge on a topic of mutual interest, with probable prospects of using the results in industrial processes or in the development of new products – these projects are designed to prove concepts (technical viability and benefits) of new inputs, materials, and/or processes for the development of new production methods or cosmetic products by Natura or other companies of the Natura &CO Group, with the results being evaluated for patenting potential and, if applicable, the Industrial Property (IP) generated will be adequately protected before publication and scientific dissemination.
2.6.3 Licensing or technology transfer, aiming at the acquisition of technologies already developed by Science Institutions, whether through knowledge and technologies protected by industrial property, patented or not.
2.6.4 During the selection process, project proposals will be internally evaluated by Natura. If approved, their classification into one of the three previously described categories will be suggested for contracting with the Science Institution.
2.7. Data Confidentiality
Data is submitted to Natura via the form available on the Natura Campus Portal (http://www.naturacampus.com.br) and must be NON-CONFIDENTIAL in nature, as well as any questions made through the form available for doubts https://forms.office.com/r/1tbz7tbH5g.
2.8. Submission of proposals
2.8.1 Interested candidates must submit their proposals through the form available on the Natura Campus Program page on the internet – http://www.naturacampus.com.br.
2.8.2 Registration in the Natura Campus Program implies the full agreement and acceptance of all clauses and conditions of this regulation by any candidate.
2.8.3 Incomplete registrations will not be accepted.
2.8.4 Only registrations made via the internet, on the Natura Campus Program page, via the specific Scientific Cooperation form, with an indication of Natura's area of interest, will be accepted.
2.8.5 Exchanges, alterations, insertions, or exclusions in registrations after submission will not be accepted, except in cases where Natura formally requests modifications, formalized by e-mail.
2.8.6 Periodic calls for project proposals will be disclosed on the Natura Campus Portal accompanied by their own regulation informing deadlines, research areas, conditions, and general provisions about the evaluation process, results disclosure, and cooperation project contracting process.
3 AREAS OF RESEARCH INTEREST
The areas of interest for scientific cooperation projects may include the sciences listed below or others, as defined to be disclosed in a specific regulation linked to the calls for project proposals.
3.1 Well-being and Relationship Science

In the latter case, Natura will contribute a counterpart in financing programs offered by various Brazilian bodies supporting and promoting science, technology, and innovation, according to the scope of the project. As these programs are constantly updated, potentially operating via public notices or continuous flow, the type of financing will be discussed on a case-by-case basis and formalized in the partnership contract.

5.2.5 Intellectual property of the results (Natura will have co-ownership of intellectual property in the case of projects financed or co-financed by Natura).
5.2.6 Rights and duties of the involved parties, including provisions on authorizations, registrations, payment of fees, and other formal aspects to be executed throughout the project (e.g., CGEN, ANVISA, INPI annotation, patent maintenance, among others).
6 LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
6.1. Natura is not obligated to contract, support, finance, contact, or be interested in any proposal submitted to the Natura Campus Program. Additionally, Natura is not obligated to continue any contact or negotiation of a proposal that remains unsuccessful or ceases to be of its interest.
